Ingredients
- Kentucky Legend Hickory Smoked Ham, off the bone
- Grill Master Brown Sugar Bourbon Seasoning Rub
- Apple Juice
- Honey
- Brown Sugar
Instructions
- Place the unwrapped ham in a deep foil pan.
- Lightly cover entire ham in the brown sugar bourbon seasoning, and rub into the ham
- Place uncovered in the smoker at 250 degrees for 40 minutes
After the 40 minutes, squirt or spritz ham with apple juice, pour some juice in the pan to keep ham moist, and leave it in the smoker until the internal temperature reaches 120 degrees
Once the internal temperature of the ham reaches 120 degrees, begin to prepare the glaze. Combine 1 cup of brown sugar and enough honey to cover, in a saucepan. Stirring until fully blended and a thick liquid.
Open smoker, pour the glaze over the ham, using brush to ensure full coverage. Return to smoker for 15-30 minutes.
Slice and serve!
