Turkey, Avacado, and Rice Salad

Ingredients
- 4 teaspoons lemon juice
- 1 ½ cups diced avocado
- 1 cup cooked, diced turkey
- 1 cup cooked rice
- ½ cup finely chopped celery
- ½ teaspoon finely chopped green onion
- 2 tablespoons mayonnaise
- 2 tablespoons sour cream
- 1 teaspoon salt
Directions
Cook rice. Add avocados to a bowl and pour lemon juice over all of it.
Combine remaining ingredients in a separate bowl. Mix well.
Add avocado mixture and toss lightly. Chill.
Serve on crisp lettuce.
Peach Cobbler

Ingredients
- ½ cup sugar
- ½ stick butter
- ½ heaping cup of sugar
- 1 egg
- ½ cup oil
- 1 heaping cup of flour
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- ¼ cup salt
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 1 quart or large can of sliced peaches
Directions
Bring sugar and butter to a boil. Set aside.
Mix together sugar, egg and oil. Add flour, baking powder and salt into bowl. Mix well and add sugar mixture and vanilla.
Put 1 quart or large can of sliced peaches in 13” x 9” pan. Drop dough by spoonful’s on top of peaches and sprinkle with cinnamon.
Bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes.
Serve with vanilla ice cream
Spiced Tea

Ingredients
- 1 (7 oz) jar orange-flavored breakfast drink
- ¾ cup instant tea
- 1 teaspoon ground cloves
- 1 pkg. Lemonade mix
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 2 ½ cups sugar
Directions
Mix all ingredients well into one container. Boil water.
Put 2 heaping teaspoons (or an amount to suit your taste) into a cup and add the boiling water.
