"As AMR Automatic Meter Reading (AMR) Coordinator, I take care of the platform that reads all 63,000 electric meters in the field, as well as the testing of meters to make sure the accuracy is correct. The cooperative gets a report on all of its meters every hour with information such as voltage, or if a meter blinks. I work with servicemen in the field who will go check a meter in person if necessary, and with our Member
Services department if the cooperative needs to get in touch with a member.
It sounds cliché, but the cooperative is like a big family. I work with some really good people, and the atmosphere of the work environment, its not like working at all. I truly enjoy coming to work."
